The friend we always wanted in our friendship group. Thinking about it now her hair was awful but it was iconic and everyone wanted “THE RACHEL”.
The "Oh my god what was I thinking” a choppy shoulder length, layered bob…madness. However bad this style was, she set the tone and has continued to be a hair icon throughout the decades. Whilst we’re in the 90s we cannot leave out a hair style icon, Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham). The short bob and the Little Black Gucci Dress, how iconic was that? I bet you’re picturing it now, the bob, the sunglasses, the pout, and the dark lip liner. She reinvented the bob and it became crazy popular throughout the 90s. Later in the 00’s she spiced up the bob 2become the POB (Posh Bob) adding blonde to her dark lengths. Moving on to the 00’s, don’t think you need to grow your hair long to be iconic, remember Hermione Granger? Sorry Emma Watson. She transformed from looking like she’d been dragged through a hedge backwards to Tinkerbell walking Burberry’s cat walk. The pixie cut which evolved from the 60’s twiggy era has had so many incarnations from the OG Sharon Stone to Anne Hathaway, Katie Perry and of course P!nk.
